Man Killed in Rollover Crash at Bodega Avenue and Middle 2 Rock Road [PETALUMA, CA]

Car Overturns on Bodega Avenue in Petaluma Killing 1 and Injuring Another

 
PETALUMA, CA (January 29, 2020) – A man was killed following a rollover crash Wednesday afternoon in an unincorporated Sonoma County.
 
The crash happened around 2:16 p.m. on Bodega Avenue, just east of Middle 2 Rock Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man and a woman were in a silver Toyota sedan when the car veered off the roadway and overturned on its side in the westbound lane.
 
As a result, the man suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Paramedics transported the woman to a hospital with minor injuries, CHP officials said.
 
The Sonoma County Coroner’s Office did not release the identity of the man pending next of kin notification.
 
Officials said the crash may have happened because of a medical issue. Further investigation is underway.
