Unidentified Male Victim Pronounced Dead after Auto Accident near Mile Marker 98 in Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (April 24, 2020) – Tuesday evening, an unidentified man was killed in a rollover collision on Highway 95, near Mile Marker 98.
The Nevada Highway Patrol responded to the collision around 9:20 p.m., on April 21. Emergency personnel arrived to the area, shortly after.
Nevada State Police say the involved vehicle seemed to lose control for unknown reasons before it over-corrected back onto the freeway. There, the vehicle rolled over on U.S. 95, near the mile marker 98.
Authorities said that they currently believe that speed was the main cause of the accident. In addition, they are also looking into DUI as another potential factor.
Towing services were later requested to remove the damaged vehicle from the scene.
The surrounding area on Highway 95 was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
