Early Morning Pedestrian Crash on 105 Freeway in Los Angeles Turns Deadly
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 27, 2019) – A man was killed following a pedestrian crash early Monday morning in Los Angeles.
The fatal crash happened around 2:13 a.m. on eastbound 105 Freeway at Vermont Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a male pedestrian wearing dark clothing walked into traffic on Glen Anderson Freeway and was struck by an unknown vehicle.
The victim, possibly a transient, was pronounced dead at the scene. He is believed to be in his 50s or 60s.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
No identifying information is being released at this time. This incident remains under investigation.
