Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident on East Nebraska Avenue [Fresno, CA]

Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Driver near De Wolf Avenue in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (April 15, 2019) – An unidentified man died as a result of Saturday’s pedestrian accident on East Nebraska Avenue.
 
According to news reports, the crash happened around 10 p.m., near De Wolf Avenue. Dispatchers arrived to the area soon after.
 
California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the fatal crash. Due to the impact, paramedics rushed the victim to a local hospital, where he later died.
 
According to Sgt. Manuel Peregrina, the area where the incident occurred is dark with a high volume of traffic and parked automobiles.
 
Following the crash, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with officials. At this time, officers have ruled out impairment as a possible factor in the collision.
