Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Lower Sacramento Road [Lodi, CA]

Motorcyclist Killed in Collision with Vehicle near West Vine Street

 
LODI, CA (June 22, 2019) – A man lost his life in a motorcycle crash on Lower Sacramento Road, Saturday evening. Authorities withheld his identity, pending notification of next of kin.
 
According to the Lodi Police Department, the incident happened near West Vine Street, at about 9:10 PM. Due to unknown reasons, a motorcycle collided with a vehicle where the four-lane road is divided by a landscaped median strip.
 
Emergency responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the unidentified driver of the vehicle remained and cooperated with investigators.
 
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fatal crash. Investigators encourage witnesses to call Lodi police at (209) 333-6728. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
