Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash at Sierra Highway and Dawn Road [ROSAMOND, CA]

Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Sierra Highway in Rosamond

 
ROSAMOND, CA (July 6, 2019) – A man was killed following a motorcycle crash late Saturday evening in Rosamond.
 
The crash happened around 11:17 p.m., on the southbound lanes of Sierra Highway. Dispatchers arrived just North of Dawn Road.
 
CHP officials located a male rider lying in the middle of the roadway. A woman was also seen in the area, trying to stop oncoming vehicles.
 
Paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but the rider was pronounced dead at the scene. A coroner was notified to pick up the victim’s remains.
 
The bike was towed away for evidence.
 
Further details, including the identity of the victim, were not immediately available. The crash remains under investigation.
