Vincent Williams Arrested in Fatal DUI Crash on 210 Freeway in San Bernardino
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (February 1, 2020) – A man died in a DUI pedestrian crash early Saturday morning in San Bernardino.
The crash happened around 1:20 a.m. along westbound 210 Freeway, just east of Highland Avenue.
CHP officials said a white 2016 Lexus, driven by 28-year-old Vincent Herman Williams of San Bernardino, was traveling westbound at about 70 mph when it struck the male pedestrian, who was in a traffic lane.
The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, died at the scene.
Police arrested Williams on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol on Del Rosa Avenue, according to the San Bernardino County jail log.
Williams was released later that morning.
Further investigation into this fatal incident is underway.
