Frankford Man Killed in Horrific Traffic Crash on Route 154 [Ralls County, MO]

Ralls County, MO (November 16, 2024) On Thursday afternoon, a 70-year-old Frankford man died after a violent traffic crash on Route 154.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the deadly incident happened on Missouri Route 154.

Reports say that the Frankford man died in the crash, officials say that the 70-year-old man was driving a van that collided with a semi-truck trailer after the truck driver failed to yield.

Authorities say that the impact left three passengers with serious injuries, two of whom were airlifted to nearby hospitals. A fourth passenger sustained moderate injuries. None of the van’s occupants were wearing seatbelts, the highway patrol reported.

The semi-truck driver escaped injury. The crash led to the closure of Missouri Route 154 for approximately four hours as crews worked to clear the scene. The roadway has since reopened.
