Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Car in Spokane Valley
SPOKANE VALLEY, WA (April 23, 2019) – On Tuesday, a man was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Williams Road just north of Trent Avenue.
Officers responded to a dispatch call about a man who was bleeding on the road. However, the cause of the accident is currently unknown.
According to the Spokane Valley Fire Department arrived shortly after and provided medical treatment to the victim. The man was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, including a broken leg.
Late Friday night authorities received information regarding the victim. As a result of the crash, unfortunately he succumbed to his injuries.
The road was closed off for a brief time for cleanup and preliminary investigation, but has since reopened. No further details have been released regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident at this time.
