Man Fatally Struck in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Accident on Normandie Avenue

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (August 29, 2019) – A man died following a hit-and-run accident on Normandie Avenue on Wednesday, August 28.
 
According to Los Angeles police, the crash happened at Normandie Avenue and 51st Street in the Vermont Square area at about 1:26 a.m.
 
Police stated that the man walked across the street when a vehicle struck him. The force of the collision threw the victim on top of two parked cars. This caused him to be lodged in the middle of the vehicles. He died at the scene.
 
The suspect driver fled after striking the man. No suspect vehicle description was immediately released, although police said there were witnesses.
 
The identity of the victim was not yet available.
