1 Dead in San Jose Pedestrian Crash on Story Road near Remillard Court

 
SAN JOSE, CA (December 30, 2020) – Saturday night, a man died in a hit-and-run accident on Story Road near Remillard Court.
 
The fatal incident occurred just around 6:30 p.m. near Remillard Court and Happy Hollow Park & Zoo. According to the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office, his identity is being withheld due to pending family notification.
 
Meanwhile, the initial investigation revealed that a westbound 2013-2016 model Dodge Ram 1500 truck on Story Road hit him. Then, a possibly silver 1998-2002 model Honda Accord also hit him. These two drivers failed to stop and offer aid.
 
Thus, the authorities are still looking for the suspect drivers. They are urging anyone with information about the suspects to call Detective Eliseo Malvido at 408-277-4654.
 
This incident is the 47th fatality in a crash on San Jose roadways this year, and the 19th pedestrian victim. Furthermore, the crash is al the 10th hit-and-run case investigated by San Jose police in 2020.
