Prunedale, CA (July 17, 2021) – On Friday, a man lost his life in Highway 101 pedestrian crash.

Investigating officers said two vehicles collided on the southbound lane near CA-156.

At around 5:45 a.m., a man stepped out of his vehicle to call 911 and report the crash.

However, he was struck and killed by an oncoming vehicle.
