Fatal Yuba County Car Accident on Hammonton Smartville Road

YUBA COUNTY, CA (October 13, 2021) – Tuesday morning, a man died in a fiery crash on Hammonton Smartville Road.

According to reports, a man traveled at a high speed, passing vehicles in a 2008 Infinity M35. The incident occurred on Hammonton Smartville Road, outside Beale Air Force Base.

The two cars passed by the Infinity traveled at a speed of 65 mph.

According to investigators, the driver lost control of the Infinity on a curve. Then, it spun out into the westbound lane, where it crashed with a Ford F-150 driving at 55 mph.

As a result, the 29-year-old driver got stuck in the Infinity when it caught fire. As a result, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Meanwhile, the pickup driver complained of pain but didn’t require hospitalization.

Furthermore, Hammonton Smartville Road, east of Doolittle Drive, remained closed for almost three hours.
