PORTERVILLE, CA (March 31, 2022) – Tuesday night, a 65-year-old man died in a two-vehicle crash on Plano Street and Highway 190.

The crash occurred at about 7:20 p.m. on Plano Street and Highway 190.

When officers arrived, they confirmed that they located two vehicles with major damage.

Moreover, they found out that the 65-year-old man failed to yield at a red light at the intersection. As a result, a westbound vehicle on Highway 190 crashed into his vehicle.

After the crash, responders took the 65-year-old man to a nearby hospital. However, he later succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, another passenger involved in the crash sustained moderate injuries.
