HOUSTON, TX (January 22, 2023) – Friday night, a man died in a hit-and-run crash on Palm Street and Fannin Street.
 
The incident occurred Late Friday night on Palm Street and Fannin Street near the Museum District.
 
Initial reports said that a man was lying on the ground and may have been shot. However, further investigation revealed that the man was run over. Meanwhile, the authorities haven’t ruled out the report of the man being possibly shot.
 
“Once the medical examiner gets here, and they’re able to move the body, we can determine that for sure,” HPD Lt. Rosemon said. “We can look at it pretty closely and determine a vehicle may have been involved in this scene.”
 
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
