BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 21, 2021) – Monday morning, a man died in a speeding crash on Highway 99 and Highway 223.
 
The incident occurred at around 8:00 a.m. on Highway 99 and Highway 223. According to reports, a speeding vehicle crashed into a tree.
 
As a result, responders declared the vehicle driver dead at the scene. Meanwhile, a passenger sustained major injuries and went to Kern Medical.
