1 Dead in Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident on Decatur Boulevard and Hayes Place
LAS VEGAS, NV (January 9, 2022) – Saturday afternoon, a 59-year-old Las Vegas man died in a pedestrian crash on Decatur Boulevard and Hayes Place.
The incident occurred at around 12:50 p.m. on Decatur Boulevard and Hayes Place.
According to reports, a 39-year-old man driving s green 2005 Equinox stopped on northbound Decatur Boulevard at a red light.
As the man walked halfway through the crosswalk, the light turned green, and began jogging. Then, he tripped and fell onto the ground into the path of the Chevrolet.
After the crash, the driver stayed at the scene and didn’t show signs of impairment.
Meanwhile, the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries at University Medical Center. At this time, the Clark County coroner’s office hasn’t disclosed his identity yet.
