1 Dead in Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident on DiGiorgio Road and Myrtle Avenue

BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 3, 2025) – Friday night, a man died in a brutal pedestrian crash on DiGiorgio Road and Myrtle Avenue.

The incident happened around 9:01 p.m. when the pedestrian crossed DiGiorgio Road and Myrtle Avenue.

Then, a 24-year-old Lamont female driver hit him. As a result, the pedestrian was declared dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the involved vehicle driver stayed at the scene and has been cooperative with the investigation. 

Moreover, the authorities haven’t determined whether alcohol and/or drugs played a role in the crash.
