1 Dead in Fresno Pedestrian Crash on Highway 180 near James Road
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (March 21, 2022) – Saturday night, a man died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 180 near James Road.
The incident happened just after 10:30 p.m. on Highway 180 near James Road, near Mendota.
According to investigators, a man walked into the westbound lane of Highway 180. Then, he went into the path of an approaching Hyundai.
However, the Hyundai driver couldn’t avoid the crash and hit the man. As a result, the man sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the vehicle driver suffered no injuries and didn’t show signs of DUI.
At this time, the authorities haven’t identified whether the pedestrian was under the influence.
