1 Dead in Fresno Bicycle Accident near Alta Avenue and Manning Avenue
FRESNO, CA (January 4, 2022) – Monday night, a man died in a hit-and-run accident near Alta Avenue and Manning Avenue.
The crash involving a male bicyclist and a hit-and-run vehicle happened just before 7:00 p.m. Moreover, it occurred near Alta Avenue and Manning Avenue.
According to reports, the rider in his 50s or 60s rode his bike on the southbound shoulder of Alta Avenue. Then, a passing car struck him, and fled the scene.
Meanwhile, a person saw the bicyclist down on the ground and called 911.
When the first responders arrived, they gave the victim CPR. However, he succumbed to his injuries.
At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed any description of the hit-and-run vehicle.
Also, the authorities urged anyone with information about the incident to contact the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.
