63-Year-Old Man Injured in Windmill Farms Pedestrian Accident [San Diego, Ca]

Del Cerro Boulevard Accident Results in Injuries

San Diego, CA (March 12, 2023) – On Saturday, a 63-year-old man sustained injuries following a Windmill Farms pedestrian accident.

The traffic crash happened at about 5 p.m. on the north side of Del Cerro Boulevard.

Reports said the man was headed west toward College Avenue. At the same time, a BMW I-3 was headed down the driveway to Del Cerro Boulevard. The driver saw the man walking in front of his car and he waited.

Investigating officers said the 23-year-old driver initiated his right turn too soon and hit the man with the front of his car on the passenger’s side.

The man fell onto the sidewalk and sustained a skull fracture and a brain bleed. Luckily, the man’s injuries were life-threatening.
