Pedestrian Struck and Injured by Tractor Trailer on Interstate 15
Las Vegas, NV (July 14, 2021) – On Tuesday, a man was injured in a pedestrian accident on Interstate 15.
The traffic crash happened at about 11 a.m. southbound near Mile Marker 17.
Officers said two vehicles were on the shoulder of the freeway when one of the occupants was outside the vehicle. A tractor trailer hit the person outside the vehicle.
Rescuers took the male victim to University Medical Center in serious condition.
Meanwhile, officers said did not immediately identify if the victim was from the Las Vegas area.
Officers also said that the incident happened in the shoulder and shouldn’t cause major delays.Don’t speed, follow the speed limit and never use your phone; always be cautious of your surroundings.
