ROLANDO, CA (October 31, 2020) – Thursday night, a man suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on College Avenue and Billman Street.
 
The incident occurred about 5:50 p.m. outside a 7-Eleven store. It happened on College Avenue and Billman Street. San Diego Police Officer Robert Heims said that a 16-year-old girl drove a Toyota Scion. However, she unintentionally pressed on her accelerator instead of the brake pedal.
 
Meanwhile, the 35-year-old victim was in a chair in front of the girl’s parking spot. Afterward, the Scion hit the man and rammed through the 7-Eleven front.
 
The authorities revealed that the victim was just soliciting signatures when the crash happened.
 
As a result, the victim suffered serious but not-life-threatening injuries that included pelvic fractures.
