Man Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Barstow Avenue [Fresno, CA]

Pedestrian Struck and Hospitalized Following Northwest Fresno Accident

Fresno, CA (December 17, 2020) On Wednesday, a man was injured in a pedestrian accident on Barstow Avenue and Blackstone Avenue.

The Fresno Police Department says the incident happened around 6 p.m. as a vehicle hit a man in Northwest Fresno.

According to Police, they found a man in his 40’s on the ground injured. Rescuers took the man to  Community Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

Authorities say his condition is now stable, and he is expected to survive.

Meanwhile, the police say that a female motorist was driving the vehicle that hit the man. Authorities claim she was cooperative and remained at the scene.

Additionally, the woman was taken to the hospital, and although she was not injured.

Police added a child rode with her inside the vehicle; fortunately, the child is safe.

According to witnesses account, the man was hit on the roadway. No other details are available as of yet.
