Pedestrian in Critical Condition after Crash on La Palma Avenue near Lido Street

 
ANAHEIM, CA (October 16, 2019) – A man suffered injuries in a pedestrian crash on La Palma Avenue, Wednesday evening.
 
According to the Anaheim Police Department, the incident happened at about 9:00 PM. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck the pedestrian near Lido Street.
 
Emergency responders rushed the victim to a local hospital with critical injuries. Authorities did not release the identity of the man, who was believed to be in his 20s. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
Anaheim police ruled out drugs and alcohol as factors in the collision. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
