5 Vehicles Involved in Early Morning Crash on Highway 14 in Santa Clarita
SANTA CLARITA, CA (July 17, 2019) – A man was injured following a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 14, near the Escondido Canyon Road exit.
The crash happened around 4:30 a.m., on southbound Highway 14 near Escondido Canyon Road.
According to the CHP, five vehicles including a green Ford Fiesta and a Chevrolet Silverado, were involved.
Officers located a male occupant in the center divider with a head injury. However, there has been no update on his current condition. The Ford sedan was also found with major rear-end damage.
Paramedics and towing services were dispatched to the scene to give aid to the injured patient and removed the vehicles from the wreckage.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash and possible contributing factors.
