Man Injured in Hit and Run Accident on Bear Valley Road [Victorville, CA]

Unidentified Pedestrian Hospitalized after Victorville Accident

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (July 7, 2019) – Sunday night, an unidentified pedestrian was critically injured in a hit and run accident on Bear Valley Road.
 
Officials reported the accident occurred at 8:45 PM in the 15200 block on Bear Valley Road just west of Balsam Avenue.
 
First responders arrived immediately after. Police identified the victim as a hispanic male. However, the victims identity has not been released. As a result, he sustained life threatening injuries. Also, the victim was airlifted to Arrowhead Medical Center. There has been no update on his medical status.
 
Furthermore, authorities described the suspected vehicle as a large dark colored SUV.
 
Due to the crash, officers closed two of the westbound lanes on Bear Valley Road for a period of time.
