Multiple Vehicles Damaged in DUI Parking Lot Crash on Samgerry Drive

 
LA PUENTE, CA (August 5, 2019) – Damage sustained in a DUI crash in the 16700 block of Samgerry Drive, early Monday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened just after 1:00 AM. Based on an initial report, an SUV struck several parked cars in the area. After that, the black SUV, driven by a suspected drunk man, crashed head-on with a Mercedes-Benz sedan that belonged to the man’s wife. In addition, two other vehicles sustained damaged in the incident.
 
The paramedics arrived immediately. As a result, they brought the man to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
 
The SUV sustained bad damage; and a white pickup truck was overturned in a front lawn.
 
The SUV driver was in custody on suspicion of driving under the influence. No additional information has been released to the public, as the case is currently under investigation by officials.
