Hemet Bicyclist Hospitalized after Collision with Car near East Florida Avenue
HEMET, CA (October 23, 2018) – A man was injured late Tuesday morning following a bicycle collision on North Franklin Street. The identity of the victim was not disclosed to the public at this time.
According to the Hemet Police Department, the incident took place at about 11:00 AM near East Florida Avenue. A Hyundai XG300, driven by an elderly woman, was pulling out of a parking lot when a bicycle collided with its front.
The bicyclist complained of pain to his right side and was transported to Hemet Valley Hospital for further treatment. Updates on his current medical condition were not immediately available. Meanwhile, the Hyundai driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
