MERCED COUNTY, CA (February 22, 2022) – Monday afternoon, a man suffered injuries in a motorcycle accident on Santa Fe Drive and Avenue Two.
 
The incident happened at about 5:12 p.m. on Santa Fe Drive and Avenue.
 
According to reports, the crash involved a motorcycle and another vehicle.
 
A motorcyclist rode east on the fast lane approaching Avenue Two. Then, a Ford Escape with three occupants traveled on the left turn lane, waiting to turn south on Avenue Two. However, the vehicle driver didn’t notice the motorcyclist east on Santa Fe Drive.
 
As a result, the motorcycle crashed into the rear passenger side quarter panel of the Escape. Then, it spun around and ejected the motorcyclist into the middle of traffic lanes.
 
Meanwhile, the Ford Escape occupants suffered no injuries.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identity of the motorcyclist.
