1 Hospitalized after Fresno Incident on American Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (October 31, 2020) – Friday morning, a man suffered injuries after an auto accident on American Avenue and Peach Avenue.
 
The Fresno County sheriff’s deputies and Fresno Fire responded about 10:30 a.m. The incident took place on American Avenue and Peach Avenue, south of Fresno.
 
When the authorities arrived, they found a 21-year-old man pinned under a BMW.
 
Moreover, a concerned motorist saw the man and reported it to 911.
 
Afterward, rescue crews lifted the car off the victim. Then, responders transported him to Community Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
 
During the investigation, the deputies determined that the injured man possibly tried to steal a catalytic converter from the car he was under.
 
Also, the Sherriff’s Office confirmed that the patient doesn’t own the car. Moreover, they also spotted tools under and around the vehicle.
 
Furthermore, the authorities added that the injured man had a car nearby.
 
The authorities continue to investigate the crash. Meanwhile, the man stayed in critical condition.
