Butte County, CA (May 31, 2024) On Thursday morning, 2 people were hurt after a solo-vehicle crash on Lower Honcut Road.

According to the CHP, the single-car collision happened after midnight on Lower Honcut Road south of Oroville.

Reports say that a driver swerved to avoid hitting a deer and ended up crashing into a tree.

A female driver and a male passenger were both hurt and were rushed to the hospital.

CHP is investigating the solo-vehicle crash and has not released further details at this time.
