Two-Vehicle Crash on McClintock and Warner Road Sends Man to Hospital

Tempe, AZ (July 24, 2021) – A two-vehicle crash on McClintock and Warner Road left a man hospitalized on Tuesday.

The incident took place on July 20 on McClintock and Warner Road. 

The crash involved a gold sedan that was pulling out a drive-through. Suddenly, the elderly man who was driving the sedan accelerated and crashed into a parked vehicle.

Due to the impact of the collision, a man from the parked car was pinned between his car and a pickup truck. Then, the sedan continued rolling until it hit a wall where it stopped. 

Police said that the driver of the sedan did not seem to know why his vehicle suddenly accelerated. Meanwhile, medics transported the man who was pinned between vehicles to the hospital. However, there has been no update regarding his current condition. 

Furthermore, the severity of his injuries was also unknown.
