Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle while Lying on Tenaja Road near Calle Pino [MURRIETA, CA]

Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Tenaja Road in Murrieta

 
MURRIETA, CA (September 8, 2019) – A man was fatally struck by a vehicle while lying in the roadway Sunday morning on Tenaja Road.
 
The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. just west of Calle Pino.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was run over by a 2004 Toyota Tundra after he laid down or collapse in the middle of the road.
 
Paramedics arrived about 10 minutes later and pronounced the man dead at the scene. Officials only described him as a Murrieta resident.
 
No arrests were made at this time, but further investigation on this incident is underway.
