Deadly San Diego Pedestrian Crash on Mira Mesa Boulevard

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (October 28, 2019) — A man suffered fatal injuries in a pedestrian crash on Mira Mesa Boulevard Monday morning.
 
The San Diego police said the incident happened at about 6:30 a.m. A westbound Acura hit the pedestrian while he was crossing Mira Mesa Boulevard mid-block. The area is west of Black Mountain Road.
 
The man died at the scene. His name was not immediately released. There was also no immediate information about the driver of the vehicle.
 
The crash prompted officials to close the westbound lanes for about three hours. All lanes reopened following the emergency response.
