Pedestrian Crash on Highway 94 Kills Transient Man

 
San Diego, CA (July 28, 2020) – On Sunday morning, a 35-year-old transient man died in a pedestrian crash on Highway 94.
 
The fatal incident occurred at around 12:05 a.m., July 26, west of Kelton Road.
 
Authorities said the victim was walking on the shoulder of westbound Highway 94. Then, he stepped into the southbound lanes and was struck by a vehicle.
 
Police pronounced him dead at the scene, withholding his identification pending notification of next of kin.
 
Meanwhile, Highway 94 westbound lanes were closed for an hour as police continue to investigate the crash.
