Man Struck, Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Sahara Avenue Near North End of Strip
Las Vegas, NV (February 12, 2021) – A male pedestrian died after an accident on Sahara Avenue on Thursday morning.
The fatal incident took place on February 11 at about 11:09 a.m. on Sahara Avenue near the north end of the Strip.
A report said that the 2013 Nissan Altima was traveling west on Sahara Avenue through the intersection with Las Vegas Boulevard South.
Shortly after, a man in his 30’s tried to cross the street and as a result, the passing vehicle struck him.
According to the police, the passenger side of the Altima hit the man. Responding officials transported him to University Medical Center however, and he was pronounced dead.
The police said that the driver of the vehicle, a 28-year-old woman, did not show any signs of impairment.

Moreover, the investigation of the tragic crash prompted the closure of Sahara Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard South.
