Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash on 130th Street Near Normandie Avenue

 
Gardena, CA (January 9, 2021) – On Friday evening, a hit-and-run crash on 130th Street left one man dead.
 
The fatal crash took place on January 8 at 1400 block of 130th Street, near Normandie Avenue. At about 5:55 p.m., officers arrived at the scene and saw the man lying on the road.
 
The victim was not breathing when the officers arrived. Furthermore, the Los Angeles County Fire Department were unable to revive the victim.
 
According to Lt. Erick Lee of the Gardena Police Department, the man was later pronounced dead at the scene. However, his identification has not been released.
 
The preliminary investigation confirmed that his injuries were caused by the incident.
 
Meanwhile, police have not released the details of the suspect’s vehicle. Moreover, they are asking anyone who might have witnessed the incident to call Investigator Jose Zamudio at 310-217-6189.
