Man Dead, Woman Injured in Church Street Crash Near Second Street [Gilroy, CA]

Fatal Accident Reported in Gilroy

 
GILROY, CA (April 9, 2019) – A man died in an early Sunday morning crash in the 7800 block of Church Street near Second Street.
 
According to authorities, police have yet to determine the ultimate cause of the collided.
 
The incident took place around 2 a.m. when Gilroy police officers responded to calls about a vehicle collision.
 
Two people were found suffering from major injuries as a result of the accident. However, officers did not specify how many vehicles crashed.
 
In the wake of the accident, paramedics transported a 40-year-old woman to a trauma center. Yet the man died in the collision.
 
The fatal victim’s name will be released by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office once the next of kin has been notified.
