Man Fatally Struck in Parlier Pedestrian Accident on Academy and Parlier Avenue

 
PARLIER, CA (May 19, 2021) – Tuesday night, a man was fatally struck in a pedestrian crash on Academy and Parlier Avenue in Parlier, California.
 
According to authorities, the incident happened at around 9:00 p.m. Moreover, they confirmed that the crash happened in the area of Academy and Parlier avenues.
 
Reports revealed that a vehicle struck and killed a 62-year-old man walking in the middle of the road. Also, the authorities said that the man was outside a marked crosswalk when the crash occurred.
 
Furthermore, responders rushed to the scene and provided life-saving aid to the victim. Despite the efforts, paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
 
Also, authorities do not believe that alcohol or drugs played a role in the Parlier crash.
 
The fatal accident is under investigation.
