1 Killed in Oxnard Motorcycle Accident on Highway 232 near Montgomery Avenue

 
OXNARD, CA (February 8, 2021) – Saturday evening, a man died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 232 near Montgomery Avenue.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at around 7:10 p.m. Also, it happened on the northbound lane of Highway 232 just west of Montgomery Avenue
 
Reports revealed that a 35-year-old Oxnard man riding a motorcycle struck the passenger side of a northbound 2012 Camry. The Camry was attempting to make a U-turn to the southbound lanes.
 
Afterward, responders rushed the motorcyclist to Ventura County Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
 
Paramedics also transported the 53-year-old Santa Paula man driving the Camry to a hospital with major injuries.
 
Authorities closed both lanes of the 232 at the scene to give way to the investigation.
