Police Search for Hit-And-Run Driver after Crash on Interstate 37 in San Antonio

San Antonio, TX (September 28, 2023) – Thursday night, a bicyclist died in a crash on Interstate 37.

The fatal crash happened at around 8:30 p.m. on September 28, near Fair Avenue on the South Side.

Police said two vehicles were traveling at high speed on the highway when one of them collided with a man in his 30s or 40s who was riding his bicycle on the left shoulder.

The man died at the crash scene.

The driver involved stopped and spoke with witnesses, but once the witnesses approached the victim, the driver took off. 

No information on the involved vehicle at this time.
