SAN DIEGO, CA (January 4, 2022) – Monday morning, a man died in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash on Franklin Avenue.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident happened at the 2000 block of Franklin Avenue.
 
Reports revealed that a vehicle struck a male pedestrian. Then, the vehicle driver fled the scene without stopping.
 
Moreover, responders rushed to the scene and performed life-saving measures on the victim. Afterward, paramedics transported the pedestrian to a hospital. However, the pedestrian later succumbed to his injuries.
 
Furthermore, officers haven’t disclosed the description of the hit-and-run driver and the vehicle.
 
Meanwhile, the incident is under investigation.
