1 Killed and 1 Hospitalized in Tracy Auto Accident on State Route 4 near Middle River Bridge

 
TRACY, CA (June 21, 2022) – Sunday morning, a man died in a solo crash on State Route 4 near Middle River Bridge.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 12:30 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on State Route 4, west of the Middle River Bridge.
 
Reports revealed that an eastbound 2005 Infiniti G35 lost control and veered off the road. then, it went into a dirt and gravel shoulder where it struck a power pole. Afterward, the vehicle rolled over into its roof and came to rest in the water.
 
Moreover, officials confirmed that a witness saw the vehicle at around 7:15 a.m. and reported it to the authorities. Then, responders pronounced the driver, a 25-year-old Manteca man, dead at the scene. Moreover, paramedics transported a passenger of the vehicle, a 27-year-old Manteca woman, to a hospital with minor injuries.
 
Furthermore, CHP said that alcohol and drugs have not been ruled out as factors in the incident.
