1 Person Killed in San Francisco Pedestrian Accident on 16th Street and Capp Street
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (January 23, 2023) – Sunday morning, a man died in a hit-and-run crash on 16th Street and Capp Street.
The incident happened at around 2:11 a.m. at the intersection of 16th Street and Capp Street.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, the first incident involved a vehicle and a female pedestrian. Then, the suspect vehicle fled the scene after the collision.
Moreover, responders transported the pedestrian to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Then, moments later, the same hit-and-run vehicle collided with another vehicle just eight blocks from the scene of the first incident.
Furthermore, officers confirmed that the suspect driver and one victim sustained unknown injuries in the crash. Afterward, paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital where the patient was later pronounced dead. Also, officers arrested the suspect for DUI
