Man Seriously Injured after Steilacoom Train Accident

 
Steilacoom, WA (July 14, 2020) – On Tuesday afternoon, a man sustained severe injuries after being struck by a train near Steilacoom.
 
The incident happened just before 4 p.m on July 14. Emergency crews then responded and used a fireboat to get the victim to an awaiting helicopter. Medics airlifted the victim to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle in critical condition.
 
Meanwhile, investigators are still looking into possible reasons for how the man ended up on the tracks.
