Two Vehicles Involved in Head-On Collision near Encino Drive

 
ESCONDIDO, CA (November 29, 2019) – A man suffered critical injuries after a head-on crash on Bear Valley Parkway on Friday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Encino Drive at approximately 2:00 PM.
 
Reports showed that the 20-year-old victim drove a Ford Focus in the northbound lanes when it crashed head-on into a southbound Ford Explorer driven by another man.
 
The paramedics confirmed that the victim was listed in a critical condition. The 40-year-old driver of the SUV and his female passenger were seriously hurt in the incident. However, an infant in a child safety seat in the SUV did not suffer injuries.
 
Neither alcohol nor drugs played a role in this crash. No other details were released. An investigation is on-going.
