Driver Ran a Red Light, Struck Male Pedestrian at McKinley and Cedar Intersection

 
Fresno, CA (September 25, 2020) – A pedestrian versus vehicle crash occurred at McKinley and Cedar intersection on Thursday night in Fresno.
 
The pedestrian accident took place on September 24 around 8 p.m. at the intersection of McKinley and Cedar.
 
According to a report from Fresno police, the male pedestrian was in the right of way crossing the intersection. Then, the driver hit the man after running a red light.
 
Due to the impact of the crash, the man suffered a serious head injury and was in a critical condition.
 
Meanwhile, Fresno police said that the driver involved stayed on the scene for the investigation. However, it is still unclear whether alcohol or drugs were a factor in the pedestrian accident.
