Man and a Woman Injured in a 3-Vehicle Crash in 18200 Block of Green Valley Road

Auburn, WA (May 26, 2020) – A man and a woman were airlifted to the hospital due to severe injuries after a three-car collision Sunday morning near Auburn.

Deputies and medics team received reports of a serious multi-car crash about three miles east of Auburn in the 18200 block of Green Valley Road. The officials then responded to the scene around 9:30 a.am.

Upon investigating, Sheriff’s officials stated a driver trying to pass another vehicle on a curve caused the accident.

Moreover, a man and a woman in their 20s were found at the scene with significant injuries. The victims were then airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Ryan Abbott of the King County Sheriff’s Office says, the causing vehicle was passing the car in front of it for going too slow. It then accidentally collided head-on with a vehicle coming around the curve from the opposite direction.

However, it is not clear which among the 3 vehicles the injured man and woman were riding.

Green Valley Road will be closed for several hours during the cleanup and investigation of the crash.

Always be attentive and drive responsibly. We should also obey all speed limits and signs. These are simple rules but could save lives.
