MERCED, CA (December 27, 2019) – A 63-year-old male pedestrian died after a pickup truck him on Yosemite Parkway on December 18.
 
The pedestrian died after the pickup truck hit him while he attempted to cross the road on Yosemite Parkway near Marthella Avenue.
 
The motorist remained at the scene and helped with the investigation.
 
Meanwhile, authorities ruled out alcohol or drugs as factors in the crash. The identity of the victim remains unreleased as of this time.
